Hello everyone and welcome to my first monthly blog for the Sonik website. I became a consultant for Sonik at the end of 2009, and already I have been busy testing a new prototype blank for a possible new Sonik carp rod for next year. The blank itself uses new carbon fibre technology which ultimately means, you should get a rod that is lighter, stiffer and stronger. I will also be working with Ian and Tony at Sonik to produce a new landing net design. I have a busy year ahead!
