I ordered the continental following the excellent report in Sea Angler on a Sunday evening. The rod was with me, perfectly wrapped and packaged on the Tuesday ready for our night match that Wednesday. I fished with the rod on Chesil, and whilst the fishing was quiet, the extra length of the rod got me out further than ever before and into the fish that were about - just Pout and Doggies. The rod fished well, was beautifully made, and has more casting power than I have yet to fully utilise - but practice makes perfect. I am looking to buy another of these to have the perfect pair.
