Sonik Spod and Marker Rods

Sonik SK3 and SK4 Spod and Marker rods are designed to complement the SK3 and SK4 carp rods to provide a matching set. Each rod is manufactured to the same high specification as all our rods to give you many years of outstanding performance and reliability.

SK3 Marker Rod 12’ 3lb

As with the SK3 Spod rod, the specification of the SK3 Marker rod perfectly matches fits the SK3 family of carp rods. With a 3lb test curve, the powerful butt section allows you to cast a 4oz lead with marker float to distances up to 100 metres. Graduated depth markers are shown at 6” and 12” by tyings on the butt section.

Smooth, matt grey full carbon blanks with powerful, easy to load actions.
Slim, contoured full Duplon handles for extra comfort and grip in cold conditions.
Lightweight SIC Guides - 40mm butt and 30mm rings are double legged, remainder single leg for reduced weight and improved response to the tip section.
Custom DNPS 20mm reel seat to accommodate all sizes of reels, with soft touch paint for secure and comfortable grip.
Graduated depth markers shown with tyings at 6” and 12” on the butt section.
Black whippings with best quality low build varnish finish.
