1 Hook Flapper Rig

A simple, yet effective single hook rig that is unclipped, ideal when targeting a wide range of species when fishing at short to medium range. Suitable for Cod, Coalfish, Whiting, Dogfish, Bass and other species. Available in hook sizes 1/0, 2/0 and 4/0.

2 Hook Flapper (2UP) Rig

Like its sister rig, it gets its name simply because it presents the bait on two hooks which flap around. This simple rig gives you two shots with each cast and presents your bait above the lead. Ideal when fishing piers, jetties or other beach marks at close or medium range, for Flounder, Whiting, Dogfish, Dabs, Eels and Pouting and many other species. Available in hook sizes 2 and 1/0.

2 Hook Flapper (1UP1D) Rig

Same as above, but with one hook above the lead, one below - useful when you want to fish two different baits. Available in hook sizes 2, 1/0 and 3/0.

3 Hook Flapper (3UP) Rig

Three hooks unclipped giving you three shots per cast. Popular when targeting flatfish and other smaller species when there are numerous fish about. Available in hook sizes 2 and 1.

3 Hook Flapper (2UP1D) Rig

As above, but with two hooks positioned above the lead, one below. Available in hook sizes 1 and 2, ideal for scratching smaller species such as Dabs, Plaice, Eels, Whiting or Pouting.

1 Hook Clipped (Impact Lead) Rig

A single long hook length which is designed to clip onto an impact-type lead for long range fishing for Cod, Rays, Bass, Dogfish etc. Available in hook sizes 1/0 and 2/0.

2 Hook Clipped (Impact Lead) Rig

Designed for fishing two baits at medium to long range when fish are further out such as on ebb tides, or when conditions are rough and the fish stay in deeper water. Available in hook sizes 2 and 1/0.

3 Hook Clipped (Impact Lead) Rig

This rig allows you to fish with three baits at maximum distance. Bait stops on the snoods prevent your baits sliding up the line during casting. Available in hook size 2 only.

2 Hook Loop Rig

The ultimate distance match rig for extreme range fishing, which fishes with one hook above and one below an impact-type lead. Available in hook sizes 2, 1 and 1/0, this rig will catch most species such flatfish, whiting and codling over clean to mixed ground at distance.

3 Hook Loop Rig

Similar to above, but fishes with two hooks above and one below an impact-type lead. Available in hook sizes 2 and 1.

Pully Pennel Rig

Ideal for targeting bigger fish with large baits when fishing rough ground marks. The advantage of the pulley rig when used on snaggy bottoms is that once a fish has been hooked, the weight of the fish pulls the line through the top swivel and lifts the sinker away from the bottom. The name ‘Pennel’ refers to the system of tying two hooks close together at the end of the hook trace to secure larger baits. Available in hook sizes 1/0 and 3/0, ideal for Cod, Dogfish, Coalfish and other species.

Pully Single Hook Rig

Ideal for fishing rough ground or snaggy marks, the advantage of the pulley rig when used on snaggy bottoms is that once a fish has been hooked, the weight of the fish pulls the line through the top swivel and lifts the sinker away from the bottom. Available in hook sizes 1/0, 3/0 and 4/0, these rigs are ideal for larger species such as Cod, Bass, and Thornback Rays etc.

1 Hook Clipped Rough Ground Rig

A streamlined, effective rig to give maximum casting distance with a variety of baits. Its simple design minimises the chance of the hook trace tangling even when fishing in heavy surf conditions. Available in hook sizes 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0 for big baits and hungry Cod!
