Hi, I was one of lucky readers of trout fisherman to win the £100 prize I addad a bit to it and bought the above rod. WOW !!!!!!!!!!! I have have used Sage and Hardy rods for the last 20 years and this was by far the biggest supprise.....I purchast the 9ft rod and was able to cast into the wind with ease taking 6 fish for 16 1/2 lb this is by far the best rod that i have ever fished with and in time will be replacing all my rods with this range My only critisisim for me is that I prefer snake eyes but mabe that is because I'm a bit old fashioned. Keep up the good work this rod knocks spots of Sage and the attention to detail and finish is second to none. Regards

I have just purchased 2 SK4 rods from Tony's Tackle to use in Ireland last week. I found the bite detection excellent. So much that I came overall 12th in the competition with a zone win on day 2. First class rod.

The SK3 12ft 6" bass rod is an amazing rod, casting and bite detection are top notch. Bass, flatties, codling, coalies all came in no probs. I cant stress how much I love Sonik rods!! I have 2 SK4 14ft sea fishing rods that have never let me down, no matter where I fish, beach or thick weed. Amazing allround rods, bite detection is amazing, casting ability is excellent, adding yards to my casting out of the box. I'm looking at getting a Sonik fly rod for trout and one for salmon, as well as some clothing to match my caps and fleece beanie hat! Cheers to the Sonik team.

Ordered sk3 8'6 5wt and sk3 lite #5/6 reel for using on wee rivers - friendly service rapid delivery even up here in the Western Isles - Had a few casts in the garden and very impressed with them both - cant wait for the season to start! Reel v. light and looks good ! Will order from Sonik again

I am lucky enough to live near a Sonik dealer in the Unites States. This along with the extremely reasonable price of Sonik's SK3 carp rods allowed me to purchase a 2.75lb tc SK3 this summer, and what a treat it has been. From casting method balls to guiding fish to the net in the margin this rod has lived up to and exceded all my expectations. I am currently saving up to buy another three SK3 rods in the 2,5, 2,75, and 3lb tcs and hope very much that my dealer will start to carry some of the 2010 Sonik luggage and apparel (I want my sonik hat!).

Just used my SK3 8'6" #4/5 Rod,Reel and Line today for 4hrs (out of this world), cannot praise it enough and I've used a lot of rods in my 52 years of fly fishing. I had 2x3lbs brownies and 17 rainbows from 1.1/2 to 4lbs.

The Sonik sk4 14ft 5-7oz is a good all round rod for rocks and beach - looks good and casts good.

I bought a pair of SK3 2.75 tc carp rods for my son and I used them the first time this weekend. Managed to have cast around and play a few fish with them myself and I can honestly say that I was really very impressed with these rods. They look very smart with the subtly shaped full duplon handle and I really liked the matt finish to the blank. Fishing a large water we took fish from the margins and also at ranges of up to 100 yards and they were simply a joy to use. No problem at all casting at range and yet they still managed to retain enough feel to really enjoy playing fish under the tip. Highly versatile rods that put my other more expensive rods to shame in both performance and looks. Needless to say, Santa will be bringing me a set of Sonik’s for Christmas – just hope he can get them down the chimney! Mike Lightfoot.

On the 03/11/2009 17:45 I ordered : SONIK SK4 FLY ROD-8'#3/4 SONIK SK LITE REEL #3/4 SONIK SK4 FLY LINE-WF4 The next day at 14:30 it was delivered to the door. I quickly set up the rod and reel fully loaded, amazing balance and sensitivity. The fabrication of this rod and reel is second to none, I would say it's up there with the equipment from Alnwick(no name dropping). Being the owner of a Sonik fly line I was keen to look at some of their other products. Having read the 'Best in Test' in Trout & Salmon (having searched long and hard for something that would fit my requirements) I ordered a 7ft 5-15g light spinning rod.It arrived a few days ago. What can I say - FANTASTIC SERVICE and A FANTASTIC ROD - IT'S EVERYTHING I EXPECTED AND MORE!! I will certainly be buying Sonik again. The rods arrived as promised and in perfect condition many thanks, they look 1st class and I am sure they will perform as good as they look, but as yet not been out to try them. I will let you know once I have used them, once again many thanks for a great service.

First ever fly rod and reel. Sonik sales staf were very helpful and gave good advice, even suggesting I buy the sk3 fly rod instead of sk4 for a learner fly fisherman. The quality of the rod and reel is very high, forget spending more on fly tackle, just buy sonik! Will look to buy more from sonik in the future.

Ordered my SK4 8'6" 4/5 Rod & SK4 5/6 reel on Tuesday and it arrived the next day. Communication was great on purchasing the kit, Sonik were realy helpful with me. The kit is great, well balanced and throws a perfect long line, even longer than any off my 7 weight kits. First time I used the kit I also caught a 15.2 trout from Dever Springs, great all round and really recommended. Well done sonik, regards paul lee.

Just purchased an SK4. Rod looks and feels great. Tried it next day and was chuffed to bits. My casting has improved by over 30yds. Rod is far superior in every way compaired to my ABU rod. What a cracking rod Sonik have produced in the SK4. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good priced,good quality rod with huge potential, aswell as Sonik's Rapidex warranty. Simply unbeatable.

As a Hardy user for very many years, I have found relative to price, the quality of the new range of reels is lacking. With this in mind, I thought it was time for change so I purchased the Sonik sk Lite. The quality of this reel far exceeded my expectations, very light, engineering quality is first class, and the anodised finish is good. Allround, a good value, well made reel. The sales staff were most helpful, delivery very prompt. I shall shortly purchase another Sonik reel

FIRST OUTING LAST WEEK WITH THIS ROD, 3 FISH CAUGHT AND HAVING TO BATTLE 25MPH WINDS. ROD HANDLED AND CAST BEAUTIFULLY, FINISH IS FIRST CLASS, THIS IS THE FIRST TIP ACTION ROD I HAVE USED AND THOUGHT IT MAY BE A HANDFUL, CAST EASY AND FAR BETTER THAN A ROD I TRIED COSTING TWICE THE PRICE.
