Just used my SK3 8'6" #4/5 Rod,Reel and Line today for 4hrs (out of this world), cannot praise it enough and I've used a lot of rods in my 52 years of fly fishing. I had 2x3lbs brownies and 17 rainbows from 1.1/2 to 4lbs.

I've been using Sonik rods since they were launched a few years ago. I have tried the Sonik sk 3 - 8',Sonik sk3 - 8' 6" and Sonik sk4 - 9' and use them regularly on my guided trips. I must admit I find them excellent rods, powerful but not overpowering. You can do short accurate casts with delicate presentations with a fifteen foot leader to a rising grayling or longer ones to a rising trout under an overhanging bush right across the river. These rods never let you down and are perfect for the difficult Italian fishing conditions. Extremely good value for money; the finishing is excellent and my guests are also very impressed by them. Another very important point, is the excellent communication with the staff. After ordering a confirmation is sent out immediately together with a link to the courier for tracking your parcel. This is what you call SERVICE!!!!

I got the new sk3 rod with the sk4 fly reel and im using a sinking line on this rod.. it casts like a dream and with-in a half hour i got myself a 4lb trout. Would highly recomend this rod! As i get the distance and direction i needed in a rod.

I have replaced a new Hardy Gem MK2 7# with the SK3 7# as I found that the Gem is hard work to use over the course of a days fishing. Hardy appear to have made the Gem MK2 with a much heavier bottom section adding a "Broomhandle" feel to the rod. The Sonik is lighter and more responsive than the Gem and the finish is excellent.

Recently bought the SK3 10ft #7/8. What a fantastic rod! The quality is superb and although I've only used it to catch "grass trout", it's everything I could have hoped for. Great service, great tackle, great company.

I received the rod in less than 24 hours from submitting the order. It was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I have now used this rod three or four times and can not fault it in any way. My casting has improved and the presentation of the fly could not be better. Thanks for a great product and service. A great little rod, casting nice tight loops loads easily and light in the hand. Really good for wild brown trout on small and medium sized rivers. I love it.

Very happy with the service I received, the salesman I spoke to John was very helpful in making the final decision. Had it not been for the tight budget I would have gone for the SK4 fly rod. I first encountered Sonik product and sales at the CLA game fair this year. The products were good and the sales team helpful without being pushy. I purchased the Sonik sk3 fly rod, it was delivered v.fast. I liked the feel and quality so much I ordered a sonik sk4 fly reel and spare spool and line. This really impressed me, no clicky ratchet, smooth action and looks great too. I am now considering a lure rod. Highly recommend Sonik products.

Hi - I just wanted to let you know how delighted I am with my new Sonik SK3 9'6" 6/7 rod. Firstly, I was very impressed with the level of customer service. The rod arrived the next day as promised - not something that happens with all online retailers in my experience. As a relative newcomer to fly fishing, I found that the rod improved my casting ability almost immediately. It's beautifully finished, and feels like a rod from a much higher price point. I look forward to buying an SK4 reel to match it very shortly! I would heartily recommend the Sonik experience to anyone.

Just used my SK3 fly rod for the first time.What can I say but BRILLIANT. First cast right on the button and a take and fish first cast. As a newbie to the sport I found this rod so easy to use it even made me look good. The rod is well worth the money and recommended. I will be changing my carp rods now. I was looking for a good quality starter rod and reel and felt that the quality of the Sonik equipment was far better than the competition within the same price range.

What can I say...bought my SONIK SK3 FLY ROD 9'6" #6/7 back in January and thought I would give it a good work out before leaving feedback...This rod has been brilliant, especially with this being my first season with the fly, biggest fish so far 14lb 13 oz, which bent the rod lovely.....Thanks S.Dolden.

A couple of weeks back, I bought two SK3 fly rods together with two SK4 reels. First thing to note was the fantastically friendly, helpful and interested conversation while the order was placed by phone.....this is a company that clearly understands the meaning of customer service! Shipping had to be on a particular day but this was clearly no trouble to Sonik and the package duly arrived on time. I have not had the chance to use the gear yet...childrens sports taking priority at the moment...but first impressions are that this tackle is a cut above the rest (actually probably several cuts above) in the price range. The quality of build and finish is truly excellent and the kit looks beautiful. Although the rods have not been used in anger, I have rigged them and, just as the publicity material describes, the balance of the rod and reel is perfect. These guys deserve to do well - fantastic tackle from a great company. Thanks Sonik!

When I received my 8'6" #4/5 SK3 the first thing I noticed was the weight of the rod. It was so lightweight and well balanced. It also felt so smooth I could not believe it's price range! First fish I landed on that rod was a 17 inch grayling from Lapland. Because the soft touch of SK3 I didn't need to worry about my 6X leader while fighting the fish in a white water rapid. I'm looking forward to fish with my SONIK once again. Just absolutely superb rods!

I have recently started fly fishing under the expert tuition of a qualified instructor. I have only just started fly fishing and this is my first rod. I spent ages looking for one at the right price that sold itself to me. I ordered it and it arrived really quickly which allowed me to get into practicing for my first trip out with the SK3 line.
