Hi, My name is Niall Mc Conn, i bought two new rods off Sonik in the past two weeks. SK 4 and a SK 3.Since i got them i wont bring any of my other rods with me. Both rods have a lovely feel to them, from when the fish takes the fly , to landing your rainbow or brownie. I also like the look of the rod,when your spending your hard earned money on some thing, its important to like the look of it.

Received my fly rod at lunchtime the day after ordering, beautifully packed and looks superb too. Have been out on Colwick lake in Nottingham and found this a really forgiving rod as I am a complete novice at fly casting. Caught a 2lb rainbow trout and it felt great on the rod, I will be back soon for another rod

I got this rod from a half price offer from in the trout fisherman magasine and to be honest it is far better rod than the ones i have at more than double the price , i have let others try it who were also impressed i would like to see it in 10.6" 7/8

Just wanted to tell you all at Sonik what a great afternoon we had out at Dever Springs in Hampshire last Friday with the little lad. Within 30 minutes Jonathan had two great takes and struck into a couple of fabulous Rainbow Trout, played them in brilliantly. Both weighed in about 7 and a half pound each!! Even a guy across the other side of the lake was shouting out could Jonathan give him some lessons as he had been there most of the morning had caught nothing......Once again thanks Sonik for making rods and reels that are extremely effective and easy to use!

i purchased my sonik 3 9ft/6" 7/8 rod on the 20/9/08 deliverd next working day. its a great rod top quality finish. my casting has improved greatly 2 good raindows first time out. many thanks for a great rod and service s walker marske by sea.

With my new SK3 9.6" 7/8, I yesterday completed the Anglia Water beginner's fly fishing course at Pitsford Reservoir. The rod was a joy to use. From scratch, I got the hang of a basic overhead cast and ended up fishing on my own until it got dark! I'm delighted with all aspects of my purchase, from the helpful advice given to me on my first phone call, easy online ordering, next-day delivery, and finally the amazing feeling as the rod loaded up and shot line across the water! I recommend Sonik without hesitation.

I received my SONIK sk3 on Monday and as I was on a rest day on the Friday could not wait to get out and try it,and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed a good days fishing and was very impressed with the rod.I tried something on Friday that I have never been able to do with any rod that I have had before,cast into the wind.I found this so easy with the sk3,the power in the rod is fantastic,no more casting with the wind at my back for me, In my opinion money well spent

Since my purchase from the CLA show where i had all my queries answered,i've used the rod several times.As a beginner to the sport i have tried different rods,mainly borrowed,& found the sonik best suits me.On casting i'm not getting tangled up so much,& i'm able to keep the same lenght of cast time & time again without tiring my arm.On the whole i'm very pleased,so much so i'm going to invest in the reel & spools to go with it.

Andrew Lawrie - Arbroath Ordered the Sonik sk3 one day and it was here the next. Fantastic. Being a complete beginner to the sport I had my first chance to give the rod a try out at a nearby stillwater pond a couple of days later. Well the casting might be a bit iffy, (lot of practice required), but I managed to hook a fish. What exileration!!! Can't wait to get back out and try this rod some more. Great piece of kit.

I have fished with £300 Rods nowfor many years I have now tried my New Sonik SK3 Rod and I am amazed this Rod is so tender yet strong,it is an extension to my arm, I can feel the fish licking the fly. My first 2 hrs with my new Sonik I landed 5 Rainbows from 3 to 8lbs. A Great Fishing Instrument.

I have been very happy with the way the rod casts my 7 weight lines, pushing the best part of a full line with out any undue effort

I used my new rod today, for the first time, coupled with a new Snowbee line. The whole lot cast like a dream. No problem putting the whole line out. All in all, I liked the rod very much, thank you. Mark Sheppard.

I have only used it once so far. I like the casting action and was able to send out my line with ease. When I first got it I took it to a local field to try it and found it to be quite tiring on my arm even though it balanced perfectly with my reel. When I used it for real the tiredness never appeared all day and I felt fine at the end. I even kept my record of always catching fish with a new rod. It is a very pleasant rod to use.

Handled this fish as well as the loomis which it replaced due to breakage....needless to say I am very pleased.....ken

Ordered the SK3 and SK4, and the rods arrived within 24hrs. Sonik have delivered on their promises at every level. The rods are beautifully made and the feel and quality are on par with any 'top of the ranges' offered by the established names - the olive green blanks have to be seen to be believed! Give them a go - you will not regret owning one of these finely crafted, premium objects.
