I am lucky enough to live near a Sonik dealer in the Unites States. This along with the extremely reasonable price of Sonik's SK3 carp rods allowed me to purchase a 2.75lb tc SK3 this summer, and what a treat it has been. From casting method balls to guiding fish to the net in the margin this rod has lived up to and exceded all my expectations. I am currently saving up to buy another three SK3 rods in the 2,5, 2,75, and 3lb tcs and hope very much that my dealer will start to carry some of the 2010 Sonik luggage and apparel (I want my sonik hat!).

I bought a pair of SK3 2.75 tc carp rods for my son and I used them the first time this weekend. Managed to have cast around and play a few fish with them myself and I can honestly say that I was really very impressed with these rods. They look very smart with the subtly shaped full duplon handle and I really liked the matt finish to the blank. Fishing a large water we took fish from the margins and also at ranges of up to 100 yards and they were simply a joy to use. No problem at all casting at range and yet they still managed to retain enough feel to really enjoy playing fish under the tip. Highly versatile rods that put my other more expensive rods to shame in both performance and looks. Needless to say, Santa will be bringing me a set of Sonik’s for Christmas – just hope he can get them down the chimney! Mike Lightfoot.

Firstly these rods look great which always helps as I sit staring at them for long enough, but it's the action which really stands out. I've used them for pva work & they hit the mark every time & when I was lucky enough to get a run they were a joy to use. I hope they bring out a range with a full cork handle, now that would be special.

These sk3 rods look absolutely great - they ooze style! The 2.75lb tc version feels powerful enough for lively carp, but I really like the tip action when playing fish up close. I am really happy with these rods.

I've owned my SK3's for 12 months now, still can't fault them. Took them to France in July and handled everything thrown at them. Even the Cats.

Fantastic, I ordered these rods a couple of weeks ago and finally got to go out fishing with them. The casting ability of the sk3 is out of this world. I gave it a small chuck to the other side of the lake and to every one's amusement ended up in the top of the tree on the other side. Then I had to explain that I had new rods and the chuck with my old rod would just reach the other side of the lake. By now my other 2 rods were bing tested by a few of my friends (I am sure there will be some more sk3s turning up at my lake soon). I also managed to catch a lovely mirror weighing in at a nice 16lb which my rod handled with ease. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR SOME NEW RODS AROUND THE 100 NOTES MARK THEN GO NO FURTHER!

Hi, I have been carp fishing for around 20 years, purchased a set of quality rods about 10 years ago and was more than pleased with them. Recently I had to replace one due to an accident. In my local tackle shop I conpared an SK3 sonik carp rod (not realising there is an SK4 rod) to the likes of Greys rods etc. I found the action to be very similar, but the price to be a lot cheaper. I saved about about £50 on similar rods. On the bank I was more than pleased with the performance of the SK3. The look of the rod is good, slim and light. I have already caught some doubles and have found the through action is very good when playing carp. I found casting to be very smooth and distance casting is not a problem. I liked this rod so much that I contacted Sonik direct to purchase a second rod. To my surprise Tim at Sonik was extremely helpful on the phone. I was surprised when the rod arrived the next day with a free sonik cap. The guarantee is quite good too. To be honest if I had known about the Sk4 rods I may have got them but I don't know anthing about them but would find it hard to believe they can be much better than the sk3 rods. I would recommend these rods to any serious carpers - a good buy! Dave from Liverpool.

I recently received my SK3 carp rods - my first impression was they were great, then I got a chance to use them on the 2nd August and my opinion changed - they are absolutely fabulous! I would recommend investing in these rods, well up to the job. Thanks SONIK!

I can not fault these rods. They look good,feel good,cast long distance, and are forgiving at close range, and all for an unbeatable price. Fantastic!

What a deal, I thought as I was going through the Sonik website. Time to treat myself I thought and put by well used Greys rods to rest. When the rods arrived I was more than happy - my first trip out I managed 3 carp to 25lb. The rods are so light and played the fish with ease, taking all the carp's lunges, why pay £200 plus per rod when deals like this are about? Cracking rods, great service, super sonik!

What a lovely piece of kit. Landed three Cats up to 39lb at the weekend and it was a pleasure to play them on my Sonik 3.5 lb test curve.

Purcahsed my Sonik's on your 3 for 2 offer (I bought the 3lbs TC model), I upgraded mainly as I needed a good quality set of rods for this coming season. In the short amount of time I have used these rods I have landed 3 fish to 40lbs 4 oz (a PB) the others being 16lbs (possibly the smallest fish in the lake) and 24lbs.
