Being the owner of a Sonik fly line I was keen to look at some of their other products. Having read the 'Best in Test' in Trout & Salmon (having searched long and hard for something that would fit my requirements) I ordered a 7ft 5-15g light spinning rod.It arrived a few days ago. What can I say - FANTASTIC SERVICE and A FANTASTIC ROD - IT'S EVERYTHING I EXPECTED AND MORE!! I will certainly be buying Sonik again. I recently purchased an 8' sonik spinning rod and I have to say how impressed I was with the quality, action and castability of the rod, it is very well made.

Rod is highly robust, but not invulnerable to car boots! Fortunately, the Rapidex replacement service is fantastic. Can't commend highly enough.

I bought the Sonik sk4 spinning rod after reading the report in Trout and Salmon. I used it today for the first time. I don't do a lot of spinning, concentrating mostly on fly fishing but I can honestly say it is a fabulous rod. It is finished beautifully. The only thing I would change would be to make the the reel seat metal and not plastic and put a small eye to hold the hook above the handle. For the price a real cracker. I haven't bought any Sonik rods before, but if the fly rods are as good as this I certainly would.

Just got my hands on an 8ft and 9ft spin rods. First impression, a classy looking, well-built piece of kit. After testing with a variety of lures, both plastic and metal, I realised that not only were they capable of sending lures away with ease, they also have plenty of backbone, and a sensitive well-balanced feel on retrieve. Congrats sonik!

Very pleased with SK4 8Ft rod so far. Spinning on the river Teifi in SW Wales with Rapala. Very light and responsive and easy to use. Andrew Meese
