As a relative newcomer to fly fishing I was longing for a new rod and reel to cope with the autumn winds we are now having. After reading all the reviews in the trout mages recently I decide to purchase a the SONIK 3 9'6" 7/8 Fly rod and reel combo. The rod and reel were delivered next day, Looking at the reel it looked an excellent piece of kit, changing the wind on the reel was relatively straight forward. After the first few casts I quickly noticed how much further I was casting. The combo handled beautifully. I throughly recommend the products they are a delight to use. With a birthday coming up I guess there will be a few more ~SONIK items getting added to my collection

I rang up on Wed 15/10/08 and spoke to Tim regarding the Sonik fly rods.As I live close to the office he invited me down to try them out. I called in on Friday 17/10/08 and spent some time with Tim who set up the SK3 rod and reel for me to try.By 1430 that same afternoon I was out on the water casting better than I have done before.Was out again the following Monday.What a difference the Sonik rod and reel have made to my casting. Having bought an SK3 fly rod and SK4 reel I have been hugely impressed by the build quality and performance of both. The products were delivered the next day and the quality and value were exactly as advertised. After several successful trips out fishing with the tackle, I was unfortunate and had to replace a broken top section - the after sales customer service was outstanding and everything that SONIK had promised - within 24 hours the replacement rod had arrived and I was back out chucking feathers on my local water - the photo speaks for itself! In over 25 years of fishing, SONIK is the best tackle and Company that I have used and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. If the standard of the rod is equal to the level of customer service then you can do no better! As a novice I phoned to discuss options and was impressed by the advice provided which was not to sell the most expensive rod available but was genuinely geared to my current requirements and future aspirations. The delivery date was tailored to my needs rather than the blanket 24 hours after the order was placed and I was contacted before the order was despatched to ensure that the reel was set up correctly for my use. I can hardly wait to use it in anger this weekend and am certain that I will be buying again from Sonik Sport in the very near future.

I recently bought the Sonik sk3 rod and reel combo, and found the quality and finish of both to be excellent. Also the service, and ease of buying were fantastic. Both the rod and reel were with me the day after the order went through, and everything was as asked for. He was very happy and as I was also looking for a new fly rod and reel at the time I took his advice and ordered. When my new gear arrived the next day as promised I was very happy. Just back from the Dales and the River Ure where conditions were superb. A first outing for my new rod- the SK3 Fly Rod, 8'6" #4/5. What a dream she is...the line glides thru and the presentation was feather light on the water...My casting was transformed and I was able to fish all day without notice.
