I bought the SK4 10 foot 7/8 rod and SK4 fly line, best rod and line I have had. I can put a long line out with ease, and it is so smooth. Great friendly service from Sonik. I will be back for more.

After a number of conversations with the (very patient) Tony Anderson I ordered my SK4 9'6 6/7 rod and reel package along with the SK4 line. As promised it came the following day and despite the weather I had to take it out at the earliest opportunity to see if it was as good as I had read it was. I was not diappointed.... the rod made long precise casts effortless even against a strong wind and the line seemed perfectly matched. Also the reel is well balanced and so smooth!! The outcome was three rainbow up to 3 1/2 Ib, which I am fairly confident I wouldn't have caught on my old gear. Many Thanks, Will definitley be back for more.....

What Can I say! Sonik Fly fishing kit has transformed my sport!. The old saying ' bad workman blame tools' certainly not the case here my fishing has definately benefited no end with the change to Sonik kit. Sonik is the new remington and I wish I could buy the company..well done guys!!

I recently purchased a Sonik sk4 combo, and also a Sonik sk3 combo for my son, i would just like to say how efficiently Sonik dealt with and despatched my order, even when one was faulty and needed to be returned, they were very understanding, and immediately despatched a replacement, and paid for the postage on the return item. Both me and my son are delighted with the quality and design of the rods and reels, and have already been out testing them, we are absolutely thrilled with them, we are recommending our friends to buy Soniks, and will definately be purchasing from this company again.What are you waiting for, get buying!!!!

What a fantastic company - I ordered the SK4 4/5 Fly rod and matching reel along with the SK3 5wt floating line. The order was placed on a sunday night and arrived as stated on the tuesday morning. The rod came in a very attractive and sturdy tan cordura tube with carry strap. The reel also came in a nice little neoprene pouch - something I wasn't expecting when both rod and reel cost less than the last rod I bought and that only came with a bag!!! The tackle is fantastic and priced very reasonably. I bought this outfit mainly for river fishing but after receiving the goods couldn't wait for my next day grayling fishing to try it out and hit my local stocked small still water. The rod and reel are perfectly balanced, and despite a fair wind I acheived consistently good turnover and distance with my casts. Normally on this water I would use a 7wt rod, and was a bit worried about how the lighter wand would handle a big fish. I needn't have worried, it handled a very lively foul hooked (on a size 14 buzzer - oops!) 5lb rainbow beautifully subduing it within about 10minutes. This fish also tested the drag on the reel, it is very accurate in it's adjustment (unlike some reels that are either all or nothing) and has the most beautiful sound when the fish takes line - not loud enough to make you panic, but very definite, crisp and satisfying!! I am extremely pleased with this tackle, and am seriously contemplating changing a couple of my other rods to Soniks. If you want a good value rod, reel and line that perform incredibly - you won't go wrong with Sonik.

The SK4 rod / reel combination really compliment each other well. The 4 piece makes for a handy traveller whilst the reel provides good strength without being too heavy on the arm. Overall light weight and strength ... what else is there ? Of course you still need to catch the fish!

Once again a good morning out with the SK4 combo's. This time I took the better half with me instead of the little nipper.......Low and behold she catches her first rainbow on the same lake as my son only a short while ago!! What's going on, I have a blank and these two manage to catch the fish.....Beginners luck I think springs to mind. But once again many thanks to Sonik in producing great kit that is obviously easy to use for very first timers / beginners as well as for the likes of me who can't seem to catch anything at the moment!!! ha ha ha. Thanks again and I hope I have better luck when I can finally get out by myself!

I took my son on his first fly fishing trip to a lake near Devizes in Wiltshire. He used the 6/7 combo and I used the 7/8 (I was mainly casting for him to begin with but in the end he wanted to cast out by himself. Retrieving and playing the fish was quite simple for him etc). Both rods and reels were beautifully ballanced and the result was that he beat me in the weight stakes at the end of the evening!! Typical eh....But it goes to show that even an 8 year old lad can use these fly rods and reels to great effect and the final result was a lovely Rainbow Trout at 3lb.

HAVEN'T USED THE REEL YET BUT THE ROD IS WELL UP TO EXPECTATIONS AND I WOULD SAY VERY GOOD VALUE.

It's not that often I give credit where credits due, But many thanks Sonik for your help and guidance (as a novice) its great to get first hand advice of what outfit was best to buy for my style of fishing. The service was second to none from start to finish and the delivery turned up when you said it would. On opening I must admit the quality and finish of the rod and reel was superb.

I received my SK4 rod and reel in less than 24 hours from my on-line order and the kit is outstanding. I am principally a dry fly fisher and the accuracy and delicacy of the SK4 with a 5 weight is outstanding. I have been using an old Hardy's featherweight and a small perfect which is well balanced but the Sonik equipment is a revelation. The reel too is first rate and superb quality. I saw the Sonik ad in T & S and had no hesitation in ordering. The quality is quite simply excellent and I would recommend, and indeed have done so, to anybody in the market for some new fly gear to look at this equipment. The lifetime replacement guarantee is also an attractive offer.

I bought a Sonik sk4 rod several weeks ago,and have at long last been able to try it out! Suffice it to say that it was very responsive and took time at all to get used to. In fact after the first cast I had to strip all the line from my reel. Contrary to usual, I had no achs and pains the next day.

As a beginner,meeting the Sonik representative at the CLA Game Fair really inspired me. Being able to try the rod along with many others on the day I was overwhelmed by such a high quality product at a good price - putting it in a par with much more expensive rods. What a great product and excellent service.

Your delivery and customer service were first class and the SK4 10' 7/8 did not disappoint. I bought it for all round use both salmon and trout. It was the perfect rod for the low water I experienced last week on the Oykel and on Loch Ailsh. It has already landed numerous trout and a couple of salmon in its first week. Plenty of power, throws very tight loops and had great fun doing single handed Snake rolls and spey casts. Congratulations on very competent and well priced product.
